Hawkesbury Arts and Culture’ s popular Seniors Expo returns this March as part of the NSW Seniors Festival 2026 celebrations. On Wednesday 18 March, the Deerubbin Centre in Windsor will come alive with a vibrant program of activities designed for local seniors to have fun, connect and celebrate community.
Running across the day, the Seniors Expo offers a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, connect with local organisations and recognise the valuable contributions older adults make to our region. The event will feature information stalls from community groups, live music performances, engaging workshops and light refreshments.

The day begins at 10am at Hawkesbury Central Library, where pop-up stalls will provide information about local services and support available to seniors. It’ s a great chance to gather helpful resources, enjoy some freebies and brochures, and have meaningful face-to-face conversations. Tea and coffee will be available throughout the morning.
From 12pm to 1pm, head upstairs to the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery to enjoy a complimentary light lunch and live music on the Gallery balcony. Visitors can also explore the new exhibition, HOME | a place we call, showcasing works by local Hawkesbury artists, and meet the Gallery’ s friendly staff and volunteers.
The afternoon program runs from 1pm to 4pm, with a range of free workshops and site tours throughout the Deerubbin Centre. Activities include fitness sessions, historical tours, arts and craft workshops, and even ukulele lessons. Spaces are limited and bookings are essential. Participants can book online, by phone, or register on the day if places remain available.
