Behind every local sports team, support service, and volunteer-run organisation in the Hawkesbury is a group of people giving their time to the community. ClubGRANTS at Windsor RSL exists to support that effort, helping local groups access funding that strengthens programs, improves facilities, and makes participation possible for more people across the region.
Windsor RSL continues to support the Hawkesbury community through the opening of Category One and Category Two ClubGRANTS, helping local groups, clubs, and organisations access funding that makes a real difference close to home. When community organisations think about ClubGRANTS, Windsor RSL remains a key local partner in turning funding into meaningful outcomes.
Each year, through ClubGRANTS, registered clubs across NSW provide vital support to tens of thousands of local community organisations, sporting groups, and charities that make a meaningful difference in their communities. Since its inception, the program has delivered more than $ 1 billion in funding, making

ClubGRANTS one of the largest and most effective community grants programs in Australia.
ClubGRANTS is an NSW Government initiative delivered in partnership with registered clubs, enabling a portion of club revenue to be reinvested directly back into local communities. In the Hawkesbury, this means funding stays local— supporting the people, programs, and facilities that residents rely on every day. From essential community services to grassroots sport, ClubGRANTS empowers local organisations to grow, adapt, and continue the important work they do for our region.
Category One ClubGRANTS focus on supporting people who may be experiencing disadvantage or hardship. Local not-for-profit organisations, charities, and incorporated community groups delivering services such as health and wellbeing programs, youth and family support, disability and aged care services, food relief, employment assistance, and community welfare initiatives are encouraged to apply. This funding helps organisations strengthen services, respond to local needs, and reach people who need support the

most across the Hawkesbury.
Category Two ClubGRANTS place a strong emphasis on sport, recreation, and community participation, helping to keep local sport active and accessible. Many Hawkesbury sporting clubs rely on this funding to purchase equipment, improve facilities, support junior development, train volunteers, and remove barriers to participation. Category Two funding also supports community activities that encourage healthy lifestyles, social connection, and inclusion. While sport is a key focus, Windsor RSL recognises and supports the value of all community organisations that bring people together.
Category One and Category Two ClubGRANTS are open for applications, and these can be submitted through to the NSW ClubGRANTS windsorrsl. com. au / community. Applicants are asked to outline their project, how the funding will be used, and the benefit it will deliver to the local community.
Organisations, community groups, and sporting clubs applying for the first time are warmly invited to organise a time to drop in to Windsor RSL for a coffee and a chat about ClubGRANTS. Whether you’ re

thinking about applying, unsure where to start, or just want to talk through an idea, support is available to help make the process clearer and less daunting. Sometimes a simple conversation is all it takes to turn a good idea into a strong application.
