With the festive season wrapped up, Windsor RSL remains committed to supporting local families and individuals facing challenges. Throughout December, we worked alongside the Jeremiah Project through the Christmas Hope Appeal, a community-driven initiative that delivered festive hampers to those doing it tough. These hampers provided more than essentials they offered a reminder that our community stands together and that no one should feel overlooked during the holidays.

Stepping into 2026, Windsor RSL is embracing a renewed focus on year-round community support. One of the first major initiatives of the year is our Backto-School Backpack Appeal,

launching this January. This appeal supports the schools and students who need it most across the Hawkesbury. From pencil cases filled with pens and pencils to essential stationery packs and vouchers for school shoes, each backpack provides practical, confidence-building support for young people as they begin their school year.

As the year unfolds, Windsor RSL will continue strengthening connections across the region, recognising the vital role played by local sports groups preparing for their 2026 seasons. Many sporting clubs rely on community backing, and through the ClubGRANTS program and our broader sponsorship opportunities, Windsor RSL can assist with a

wide range of needs from improving facilities and grounds to supporting equipment purchases and helping deliver memorable end-of-season presentations. These contributions ensure local teams have the resources they need to thrive, both on and off the field.

We welcome schools, sports groups, and community organisations to reach out for support with programs or initiatives throughout the year.
