As we reflect on 2025, Windsor RSL is grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside the people, organisations, and community groups who help shape the Hawkesbury into a strong, connected, and resilient place to call home.
This year has continued to highlight the power of working together, showing that lasting impact is created through shared commitment, everyday support, and meaningful partnership.
Our collaboration with The Jeremiah Project has continued in our community outreach. The organisation has been a vital support system for families, young people, and individuals experiencing vulnerability across our region. Their newly opened safe space, The Bunker, has quickly become a sanctuary for those needing care, connection, and stability. Throughout 2025, The Jeremiah Project has led several key initiatives that deeply touched our community. Their 29km run raising funds, their Winter Appeal provided warmth, clothing, and essential items to locals facing seasonal hardship. Their Christmas

Appeal, now underway, is rallying the Hawkesbury to donate gifts, pantry staples, and financial contributions to ensure every family feels supported during the festive season. In addition, their community meal program has provided regular food support, including warm meals for those doing it tough, along with free haircuts and wellbeing services— offered in a way that preserves dignity, connection, and care. Windsor RSL remains honoured to stand beside them in this important work.
This year, Windsor RSL was recognised at the 2025 Clubs & Community Awards for our involvement in First Aid for School Initiatives. Our partnership with First Aid for You, led by Mary Dawes and her dedicated team, continues to make a meaningful difference in local schools. Ongoing programs across Pitt Town, Glossodia, Hobartville, Bligh Park, and Richmond Public Schools are providing students with the confidence, awareness, and skills needed to respond safely in emergency situations- strengthening both individual

resilience and the fabric of our wider community.
Through the ClubGRANTS program, Windsor RSL contributed $ 330,000 to sporting clubs, schools, and community organisations throughout 2025. These funds help sustain essential programs, foster participation, and ensure that people across the Hawkesbury have access to support and opportunities that allow them to thrive.
A club grant recipient the Supertee Project, an initiative supporting children in hospitals through the innovative Supertee medical garment. Designed to make hospital care easier for parents and staff, the Supertee allows children to be changed comfortably while accessing or bypassing medical lines, all while inspiring imaginative play. The initiative brings convenience, comfort, and joy to young patients, recognising them as the true superheroes they are. Windsor RSL was honoured to bring this initiative to Hawkesbury Hospital, helping provide comfort and care to families when they need it most. At Windsor Golf Club, the year

saw several community-focused events, including the Pink Ribbon Brunch, hosted by Deputy Mayor Sarah McMahon. This gathering brought people together in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation and showcased the generosity of our local community, welcoming groups including the CWA, Hawkesbury Women in Business, and The Jeremiah Project, providing a space where collaboration and community-led ideas could grow.
Our partnership with the Windsor RSL Sub-Branch remained a central part of our year. Together, we commemorated ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day, honouring the service and sacrifice of veterans and continuing our support through ongoing collaboration with RSL LifeCare.
As we move into the festive season, we reflect on how fortunate we are to be part of such a generous and connected community. Windsor RSL wishes everyone a safe, joyful Christmas and New Year season, and we look forward to continuing our support for the Hawkesbury in 2026.
