We were lucky enough to be invited to sample the new Howlin Grill at Windsor Leagues Club last week, and what a treat it was! Under the expert direction of newly appointed Head Chef Luke Lashford, the club’ s dining scene has taken an exciting leap forward.
Luke brings impressive credentials, having helmed the kitchens of some of Western Sydney’ s most popular venues including The Australian Hotel and Brewery, The Bella Vista Hotel, and The Governor Macquarie. He also currently oversees the kitchen at The Henry Lawson

Club, ensuring that quality and creativity are at the heart of every dish served.
We started with the trusty garlic bread, four generous slices perfectly toasted and packed with flavour, a comforting classic done right. From there, we decided to explore the menu’ s wide range of options, which reflect a melting pot of cuisines, from hearty pub favourites and pizzas to Asia inspired and Indian dishes.
The Asian grilled pork belly, served with soy and mirin glaze, jasmine rice, Asian greens, and a fried egg, was a standout, beautifully balanced, tender,

and full of flavour. The meat lovers pizza, loaded with brisket, was a crowd-pleaser, while the cordon bleu schnitzel was cooked to perfection- juicy, golden, and topped with spinach, ham, garlic butter, and melted mozzarella.
Other dishes we tried, the barramundi, rump steak, crumbed cutlets and smashed beef burger all hit the mark, proving that Luke and his team are serious about raising the bar for club dining.
To top it off, Windsor Leagues is teaming up with Luke to offer some fantastic weekly specials that are sure to

keep members coming back for more. Highlights include $ 20 Steak Mondays, $ 18 Brisket Tuesdays, $ 15 Burger Wednesdays, Loaded Schnitzel Thursdays, and a $ 20 Sunday Roast.
Even better, kids eat free on Monday and Tuesday nights from the kids menu with any adult main over $ 20.
Whether you’ re after a quick midweek lunch, a family dinner, or a relaxed weekend meal, Howlin Grill at Windsor Leagues is the new go to for great food, great value, and great local flavour.
