Redbank unveils Hawkesbury’ s first

Australia Post Parcel Lockers

Redbank North Richmond continues to lead the way in community convenience, with the exciting arrival of the first publicly accessible Australia Post parcel lockers in the entire Hawkesbury LGA.
Located within the brand-new Redbank Village precinct, the parcel lockers are a game changer for locals who want secure, flexible, and contact-free parcel delivery options. Whether you’ re a busy professional, a parent juggling the school run, or someone who simply can’ t make it to the post office during standard hours, this new service offers a simple and secure way to receive your parcels 24 / 7. The introduction of the lockers reflects Redbank’ s ongoing commitment to improving everyday convenience for residents.
Federal Member for Macquarie, Susan Templeman, welcomed the installation of these new lockers,“ For anyone juggling work, school runs or family life, this is for you. These lockers are free to use, and very handy if you’ re usually not at home when parcels get delivered”
For those unfamiliar with the system, using parcel lockers is easy. Customers can register for a free MyPost account at auspost. com. au and select their preferred parcel locker location- in this case, Redbank Village, as their delivery address. Then when ordering your product online you will use the Redbank Village Parcel Locker address which will appear on your Australia Post App.
When a parcel arrives, Australia Post will send a notification via SMS and / or email with a unique access code. From there, you simply head to the lockers, enter your code, and collect your parcel, anytime, day or night.
“ You can also send and return parcels anytime with a prepaid satchel,” says Ms Templeman.
This installation is especially meaningful for residents in North Richmond and beyond, many of whom have long dealt with limited postal options in the area.
“ Residents across the Hawkesbury have told me they are keen to see parcel lockers available in other locations too, so I encourage local businesses and landlords to get involved in the parcel locker program,” Ms Templeman said.
The parcel lockers are located in a welllit, easily accessible area of the Redbank Village carpark, ensuring security and

convenience at all hours.
With local businesses opening their doors and the community continuing to grow, the arrival of these parcel lockers is just another example of Redbank setting the standard for thoughtful and practical urban planning.
