Hawkesbury Fest is back in 2025, promising a fantastic family day out and a great opportunity to learn more about the important work carried out by Council and our valued community partners.
This vibrant event will feature 20 stalls from local community partners, 19 market stalls, 15 food trucks and tents, as well as free face painting, children’ s activities, and an impressive emergency services display. It’ s a fun-filled day for all ages!
You’ ll also find 10 interactive Council stalls where you can explore everything from arts and culture, community services, and major projects, to waste and sustainability, the community nursery, and the companion animal shelter.

in the Youth Zone with our 360-degree video photo booth and art wall, enjoy the free amusement rides, or unwind with live acoustic music while sampling delicious fare from the food trucks or the community BBQ. There’ s something for everyone at Hawkesbury Fest!
Dogs are welcome, so feel free to bring your furry friend— just make sure they’ re on a lead.
Prefer a quieter experience? Join us from 9am for Sensory Hour, where lights and sounds are kept to a minimum to create a calmer environment for those who benefit from reduced sensory input. There’ s also plenty of seating and peaceful spots to pause, reset, and enjoy views of the stunning Hawkesbury River.
