OUT & ABOUT

Love Holden? NSW All Holden Day is coming! SUNDAY 3 AUGUST | HAWKESBURY SHOWGROUND

Looking for a fantastic family day out? Look no further than the 37th annual NSW All Holden Day, set to roar into the Hawkesbury Showground on Sunday, 3 August. This iconic motoring event is a celebration of Australia’ s much-loved Holden brand, showcasing more than 850 original and customised vehicles – from classic sedans and utes to wagons, vans and one-tonners – collectively valued at over $ 30 million.
Festivities begin with a huge swap meet on Saturday, 2 August, offering a wide range of automotive parts, accessories and collectables. The main event takes place on Sunday, drawing car enthusiasts from across Australia – and
even a few from overseas – to what is widely regarded as the world’ s largest Holden display.
But it’ s not just about the cars – there’ s something for the whole family to enjoy. Free children’ s entertainment includes rock climbing, a jumping castle and face painting. Visitors can also browse trade stalls, tuck into delicious food and drinks, and cool off with an ice cream or two.
Organised entirely by volunteers, the NSW All Holden Day Committee works tirelessly each year to bring this beloved event to life. Attracting more than 20,000 visitors annually, the event also shines a spotlight on the Hawkesbury region, promoting local tourism and supporting
small businesses.
Importantly, proceeds from the weekend are donated to a wide range of community organisations, including the Rural Fire Service, SES, Scouts, Wisemans Ferry Men’ s Shed, St John Ambulance, Ronald McDonald House, and many more. Over the past 36 years, the event has raised more than $ 1 million for local charities – a truly remarkable contribution.
