YouthFest 2024 Express . Empower . Get loud !
Richmond Park will come to life with the young people of the Hawkesbury at YouthFest 2024 , a free event in celebration of our youth !
YouthFest 2024 will be held on Friday , 12 April from 4pm to 8pm at Richmond Park , Windsor Street , Richmond . It is for young people aged 12 to 25 years and no bookings are required , just come along to enjoy an afternoon of live music and entertainment , creative maker space , food trucks , youth markets and much more !
The event will commence with a special Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony by Merana Aboriginal Community Association , with participation encouraged .
YouthFest is proudly hosted by Hawkesbury City Council in conjunction with local young people and the Hawkesbury Youth Week Planning Committee .
The event is proudly sponsored by Hawkesbury City Council and the Department of Communities and Justice . Youth Week became a national event in 2000 . National Youth Week is organised by young people for young people and is jointly supported by Federal , State and Local Governments .
Youth Week 2024 is held from Thursday , 11 April to Sunday , 21 April 2024 with
this year ’ s theme being Express . Empower . Get loud !
In addition to YouthFest , there will be several other local activities held in the Hawkesbury to celebrate Youth Week this year :
