Summer school holiday fun at Hawkesbury Central Library , Gallery and Museum

Lego Challenge , Minibot workshops , dinosaurs , makerspace and more ! Hawkesbury Library Service , Hawkesbury Regional Gallery and Hawkesbury Regional Museum are presenting a range of fun programs to keep the kids entertained during the summer school holidays .
All activities are for school aged children ( children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult ). Bookings are required for some events with some events incurring a small fee . HAWKESBURY LIBRARY SERVICE

Lego challenge Friday , 5 January 10am-11am and Monday , 22 January 10-11am – cost $ 2 – ages 5 +. Test your Lego building skills and imagination with these challenging tasks .
Tuesday & Thursday Tuesday , 9,16 , & 23 January 2pm-3:30pm

Minibot workshop for ages 8-10 – cost $ 10 includes all materials Friday , 12 January 10:30am-midday . Construct a bristlebot from a toothbrush and battery circuit .
Minibot workshop for ages 10 + – cost $ 10 includes all materials Friday , 12 January 2pm-330pm . Learn how to construct a scribblebot using a paper cup , markers and a battery circuit .
MEandZOO animal presentation Thursday , 18 January 2pm-3pm – $ 5 – ages 5 + accompanying adult free . Have fun interacting with animals including pythons and baby crocodiles !

Collaged landscapes Wednesday , 24 January , 10am-12pm – $ 15 – ages 6-10 . Learn how to use textured paper and upcycle materials to assemble a collaged landscape .
Makerspace 9 December to 10 March , 10am-4pm Daily Free - Drop in . Drop into our cardboard makerspace and get creative with selfguided activities or let your imagination run wild and create your own creations .
