Barry ’ s resurrection of a historical

Mammoths became extinct around 4000 years ago , but Barry Locock , proprietor of Turtle Nursery and Landscape Supplies has resurrected one of the beasts .
“ Wow , can he do the same with the Tasmanian Devil , the Northern White Rhinoceros and West African Black Rhinoceros ?” I hear you ask .
All three of which I might add , are among the many animals which have become extinct over just the past 150 years .
No folks , this particular mammoth brought back to life is a magnificently restored AEC ( Associated Equipment Company ) Mammoth Major .
Barry has spent “ a motza ” restoring the vehicle to perhaps even better shape than when it first rolled off the Southall , London , production line back in 1969 .
Now I hear you ask : “ what ’ s the go with this bloke spending a fortune restoring an old truck ?”. In a word , nostalgia ! You see , the Mammoth Major was the very first vehicle Barry purchased to commence his landscaping and nursery business back in 1975 .
“ I had worked for four years as a truck driver for Martin Brothers , a landscape supplies business in Dural , and being up near the front of the queue when the smarts were being handed out , I learned all I could about the business ,” Barry explained .
