Library rewards readers this summer !
Summer Reading Club
Hawkesbury Library Service is rewarding readers of all ages with the return of the Summer Reading Club and Rewarding Reads .
The Summer Reading Club ( SRC ) is back at Hawkesbury Central Library from 1 December to 31 January 2023 . This popular children ’ s program is a great way to keep children engaged in reading over the summer holidays !
To join in the fun , simply register online at hawkesbury . nsw . gov . au / library or at either of our libraries , then collect a reading log ( hard copy available at the libraries ) and start recording the books you read throughout December and January .
Collect coupons for the books you read so you can redeem them at the SRC Shop in February . A great incentive is that the more books you read , the more you will be able to spend ! This free activity is available to children aged 16 years and under .
The SRC Shop will operate at the Central Library , Windsor with lots of cool items available to buy with the coupons from Saturday , 4 February and will remain open during library hours until Sunday , 19 February 2023 .

Rewarding Reads
We are also encouraging all members to borrow with our Rewarding Reads program . Summer is traditionally a time when we have a break from work and study and have more time to chill out . What better time to grab some books from your local library for FREE and relax . Did you know that reading increases your imagination and creativity ? It also improves your concentration and memory , enhances your knowledge and expands your vocabulary .
Every time you borrow from the library , between 1 December and 31 January 2023 , you can enter the draw for your chance to win a weekly prize pack . The more you borrow , the more entries you have in the draw . You can borrow up to 40 items each time you borrow over summer . Head to your closest branch and start borrowing ! If you are not a member it is free to join .
