Savour the Flavour bursts into Richmond Park
Get a real taste of the Hawkesbury at the inaugural Savour the Flavour food festival event at historic Richmond Park on Saturday , 26 March .
Enjoy sampling the best fresh food and produce of Sydney ’ s original food bowl as Hawkesburybased farms along with food and beverage businesses present and sell their wares .
Cooking demonstrations and live entertainment will feature throughout the afternoon , with local shops , cafes and restaurants open adjacent the park .
Savour the Flavour Hawkesbury is hosted by Hawkesbury City Council assisted by a $ 30,000 Regional Tourism Bushfire grant and a $ 6500 grant from Destination Sydney Surrounds North .
Hawkesbury Harvest and the Richmond Good Food Markets are event partners .
This food festival will be the perfect opportunity to celebrate our bountiful Hawkesbury region , according to the council .
“ Historic Richmond Park is a terrific open-air venue to browse , eat and shop … visitors and locals alike will have the chance to sample and purchase delicious food , produce and beverages from local primary producers ,” a spokesperson said .
