Art Honors!
The Scholastic Art Awards
is the largest state-wide art competition of the year.
Mill Creek Art students won 112 individual art awards!!!! We won more awards than any school in
Georgia!!!! Every high school in the state of Georgia had the opportunity to enter artwork in multiple
categories.
The Savannah College of Art and Design awarded Gold Key, Silver Key, and Honorable Mention awards.
We won 20 Gold Key awards, 37 Silver Key awards, and 55 Honorable Mention awards!!
Please congratulate these amazing student artists!! We are so proud of their hard work and dedication.
The Gold Key award winners will be on display at The Savannah College of Art and Design, Atlanta from
March 7 - 22. The awards ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 11:00 am.
Also, more of our award winning artwork will be on display at the annual Tapestry Exhibit at the ISC
Center from March 19 - 24. The opening reception is Wednesday, March 19 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm.
