In 2018 , there were 66,779 Hawai ‘ i residents ( 28,976 males , 37,803 females ) living with cancer including those newly diagnosed and those diagnosed in the past . Cases with cancer of the breast ( 17,061 cases ), prostate ( 10,480 cases ), and colon & rectum ( 7,562 cases ) comprised the largest propor�on of cancer survivors in the state .
