FOOD SERVICES
Patient meals include breakfast service at 7:15 a.m.,
lunch at 11:45 a.m. and dinner at 5:15 p.m.
We offer a celebration meal, and mom / support person
meals are delivered together.
For visitors, take-out meals are available from the
cafeteria.
The cafeteria is open from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Our hot
meals are served during the following hours:

Breakfast: 6:30-9:30 a.m.
•
Lunch: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
INFANT HEALTH •
Dinner: 4-7 p.m.
Our Labor and Delivery Unit consists of mother / baby
patient rooms dedicated to the support and promotion of
couplet bonding and breastfeeding success. “Rooming-in”
where mother and baby stay together during their stay at
the medical center is encouraged.
Labor and Delivery Unit is located on the fourth floor

• Our gift shop provides a wide assortment of gifts for the
new baby and mother (greeting cards, flowers, candies,
etc.), as well as toiletries and breastfeeding support
items. We ask that latex balloons are not brought to the
medical center, as patients and staff could potentially
have latex allergies. Mylar balloons are available in our
gift shop.

One cesarean delivery room.
BREASTFEEDING
Breastfeeding is a nurturing experience for you and your
baby. It also is an important decision that we support.
Nurses in the Labor and Delivery Unit are trained to
assist mothers and babies with breastfeeding. We
encourage breastfeeding, and assistance is available if
needed. Counseling is also available. Call 254-1441 for
more information.
For the convenience of our patients and their families
and friends, a pharmacy is located on the first floor of
Kaua‘i Medical Clinic to fill your prescription and over-
the-counter medication needs.
GIFT SHOP
The gift shop is open:
• Monday–Friday: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
• Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
CHAPEL
FINANCIAL SERVICES
Financial counselors are here to help you verify and
assess your insurance coverage and benefits, estimate
hospital cost, estimate co-payments and assist with
QUEST applications. The office is open daily from 8 a.m.
to 4 p.m. You are welcome to visit our Financial Services
Department on the first floor or call 245-1119. Wilcox
accepts most insurance plans, as well as payment by
MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, cash and
personal checks.
Our chapel offers a contemplative setting for prayer or
meditation. It is located on the first floor and is open 24
hours a day.
