Inside you will find many different rooms and scenes along with meticulous attention to detail. The dark hallways and narrow passageways that define the Den of Darkness are sure to scare even the oldest and bravest. There is so much to see and witness in the legendary Den of Darkness that it is never the same experience twice. The third attraction that was added to the list of haunts was the four story Frightmare Asylum in 2002. This haunt is housed in a 150 building that once stood on the property as the Applegate Mental Institution. Customers enter through one of the service entrances and immediately get to see the remnants of the atrocious experiments on humans that were once conducted there in the name of Science. Chock full of past residents, patients, and disturbed doctors, the Frightmare Asylum takes you through four floors of fear. Just like the past residents, you will be dying to escape.

Every year, the Staff at Field of Screams works feverishly all year long to make extreme improvements to its show and in 2013 this is no exception. The years between the introduction of the Frightmare Asylum up until now have been spent by making incredible improvements to each of the three existing attractions as well as the Entertainment Area. This year, Field of Screams has switched gears and is adding it’s unprecedented Fourth Haunted Attraction to our already impressive list. Field of Screams wanted to give our customers something that we never have before so we are unleashing Nocturnal Wasteland for 2013! Nocturnal Wasteland is an outdoor walk through attraction that takes you on a journey through the remains of a post-apocalyptic town that has been overgrown by trees and vines. As you make your way through the uneven and demanding terrain, you will encounter the creatures, mutants, and survivors that are still squatting here and have claimed this area as their stronghold. Unlike anything Field of Screams has ever released, Nocturnal Wasteland will add a completely new and different dimension to what Field of Screams has to offer.

"2013 is the Year of Field of Screams!"
