shouted, “Let me in! Give ‘em back!”
“Go away!” Br’er Fox shouted back.
“I want to enjoy my first bowl of
soup in peace.”
Br’er Rabbit got back on his
tail and gave the front door a
good hard kick. All it did was
hurt his toes. The door was
heavy and locked.
