A WEDDING TREND FOR 2013 O f course many well-known brides have worn exceedingly unusual tiaras lately. Naturally Kim Kardsashian's amazing wedding tiara comes to mind. After all, she's almost royalty to her followers, and many were favorably surprised at the tiara she wore as she married NBA player Kris Humphries. The wedding held in Montecito, California made headlines all over the world, and there are many who said that when they get married, they too want to wear an unusual tiara, as she had. Thus, it stands to reason that the fashion world has now come out with many unusual tiaras as a wedding trend for 2013. Fashionistas all seem to agree that the right tiara or headpiece can truly inspire the “look” that you desire, bringing forth either refined elegance or a true princess look for your bridal expression. For instance imagine the regal quality you will inspire by wearing a Swarovski crystal bridal tiara? They have incorporated not only clusters of Swarovski rhinestones, but also crystals to create a truly stunning tiara. After all, many a bride wishes to appear as a crowned princess on her special day, and this kind of tiara can do nothing but inspire the oohs and ahhs from onlookers as she becomes enshrined in such radiance. Some brides are going for the antique reproductions being sold as wedding tiaras. Most of them are absolutely dazzling, and can actually make the bride even more beautiful than most brides appear on their wedding day. Many are highlighted by pearl reproductions as well for the all-white look, but because so many wedding dresses today are pink, you can have a wedding tiara that includes lightly colored ruby reproductions that truly tie in the pinkness of the dress as well as your blushing cheeks. For the bride who wishes to have her bridesmaids in an emerald color, there are even tiaras that incorporate imitation emeralds worked within some of these fascinating tiaras. Also many brides are electing to have matching tiara and earring sets and some, with the perceived need to elongate their necks for that special look, have opted for longer earrings to go with the tiara and some of these are mixed with pearls. Speaking of pearls, there are some tiaras available that are made of simple pearls. It just seems that a wedding dress and a pearl tiara just go so well together, no matter what style of dress you may have chosen. Pure femininity is guaranteed with such a headdress or tiara. If crystals and pearls are not your style, you might consider a tiara made of elegant white feathers or even pink flamingo feathers if you have opted for a pink gown which is all the rage now. There are some feather tiaras available that even have pearls or crystals incorporated within them. Finally, did you know that your wedding tiara can be made of delicate lace? If you have a heavily laced wedding dress, that is sometimes the perfect thing to tie it all together. HM 2012/2013 Harsashen.com ñ 33
