Training unit
The Training Unit is responsible for recruiting and hiring of sworn and civilian
staff, as well as coordinating all training throughout the department, maintain-
ing licensing records, and overseeing the patrol and divisional fi eld training pro-
gram. The unit is also responsible for uniform, equipment, weapons purchasing,
as well as maintenance and inventory of equipment and supplies. Unit is under
the supervision and direction of the Support Services Commander, and is com-
prised of a Training Sergeant, one Personnel Offi cer, and two Training Offi cers.
