school resource offi cers
Seven full time offi cers are assigned to the school district. The high schools and
the 9th grade campus are each assigned two full time School Resource Offi cers
who are supervised by Sgt. M. Brooks. Aside from providing a police presence in
the schools, the SROs also play a major role in educating students on a number
of contemporary issues of concern both to students and parents. The SROs are
a vital part of the campus crimestopper programs at each of the high schools and
moving forward with implanting programs at all of the middle schools as well.
