district representatives
Sgt. Jaime Palafox leads the District Representative (DR) Unit which
supports the investigative branch through its community outreach
programs. There is a corresponding District Representative for each area
detective so through their combined efforts crime and fear of crime is
reduced and quality of life is increased. District Representatives coor-
dinated and organized major citywide events such as the 5K Run With
The Heros, National Night Out, and Shop with a Cop. The District Rep-
resentatives also advise 15 Neighborhood Watch programs, the stu-
dents of the Police Explorer Post #3077, and dozens of volunteers.
