BLUEGRASS BASH WITH CAPTAIN JOE & THE BOTTOMFEEDERS
Sunday, March 25, 2018 | 5:00pm
It’s pickin’ time in Boca Grande. Bluegrass style that is, with music to tickle your ears and
your toes. Featuring Captain Joe & The BottomFeeders, five friends that enjoy pickin’ and
singin’ traditional bluegrass music along with a few other favorites. Based in Naples, FL, the
band started playing regularly in 2010 but they have been friends for much longer. Capt. Joe
McNichols plays guitar and although his name is on the band, everyone plays an equal role
taking turn at leads and harmonies. The “BottomFeeders” are Sharon Morrison (mandolin
and vocals), Pat Morrison (upright bass and vocals), Larry Wicker (banjo and vocals), and
Angela Girdley (fiddle, vocals, and humor). Start this bluegrass bash off right. Bring your golf
cart, lawn chair or blanket and a picnic with your favorite beverage. The community center
lawn is open to all. "The best folks in the world listen to bluegrass music, so we will see you
soon Boca Grande!" — Captain Joe & The BottomFeeders
