Here we sit with Tianna Banton to ask her new film Last Wish and her choice to co-direct it.
Hanton Boque: Hey Tianna, how are you?
Tianna: I'm really good thanks.
HB: So you have a new film coming out.
T: Yeah I do, it's called Last Wish and it's about a girl who's dying from terminal lung cancer and decides that she doesn't want to do not doing what she loves the most, so her two best friends Joey who I play and Alex who doesn't make an appearance- but to sum it up my character takes her on a picnic and she ends up dying.
HB: Oh no! that sounds so sad, is there any part that's not going to make me cry?
T: Umm not really the intention of this piece is to pull on your heart strings and it defiently does that, there is one part where you smile and that's when Aline (played by Jade Butler) tells my character how much she appreciates her.
HB: Aww that is so cute, does your character open up as well?

T: Yeah, she sort of opens up for the first time in life and I think that's what makes it even more special for Aline, the fact that her best friend decides to let her in for once.
HB: Cool,so let's change the subject a little.What is up next for you?
T:Well i just finished writing a great romance comedy film and were in the middle of casting so that's going to be fun and then I'm working on some new music.
HB: So what we here is that you have some cool things coming up this year?
T: Definetly, I love to keep busy in any way possible so filling up my time with projects is like gods gift.
HB: Before we wrap this up, we have to ask why did you choose to be involved in the directing side of Last Wish?
T: Well I love cameras and directing, ever since I was seven and I got my first camera I've been creating mini movies and this was just something I had to do. But directing with Nasrin & Yasmin Hoque was awesome and they made it even better for me. I love those two so much.
