edition of the Hannah’s
Testimonies Magazine.
It is a quarterly magazine that
encourages
and
empowers
Christians in their walk with
Christ. All the stories captured in
the magazine are inspirational,
showcasing the goodness and love
of God. The goal of each issue is to
challenge Christians in their faith
so they may be strengthened to
fulfil the call of God in their lives.
The title Hannah’s Testimonies
is based on the biblical story of
Hannah (1 Samuel 1) in which a
young wife petitioned God when
she realized that she was not
having children. Year after year,
she called on God amidst taunts
from her rival. She understood that
staying at home and crying was not
the solution to her problem. Her
solution was in the mercy of God.
God gave her a testimony after she
persisted in bombarding Him with
her prayers. After she received her

Then Hannah prayed and said:
“My heart rejoices in the LORD; in the
LORD my horn[a] is lifted high. My
mouth boasts over my enemies, for I
delight in your deliverance. There is no
one holy like the LORD; there is no one
besides you; there is no Rock like our
God.” 1 Samuel 2:1-2
After testifying, God gave her
more testimonies. She ended up
with 5 more children. God does not
give us just one testimony but
multiple ones. When we count our
blessings, we will discover that
God has been so good to us.
What is your testimony? What
has God done for you? The bible
tells us that “And they overcame
him by the blood of the Lamb and
by the word of their testimony, and
they did not love their lives to the
death”. Revelation 12:11.
Our testimonies are inspired by
Jesus Christ our Lord who shed His
blood for us. We overcame because
He died for us by shedding His
blood on the Calvary cross.
The testimonies shared in this
issue will encourage you never to
give up and to look up to God in
faith. We give God the glory and
the praise for this maiden issue.
