TESTIMONY Benny Hinn. As he ministered, I decided to lean against a wall and pray. I closed my eyes and saw cocoa trees with pods hanging on them, but I did not know what it meant. I mentioned this to my cousin as we headed home and she said, “you've told God you want to go and live in Ghana and He is showing you something about Ghana”. I kept this in mind as I plodded on with my life. In the meantime, I had sent my CV to an older brother who was so pleased that I had finally decided to come back home. Months later, I was sitting at my desk in the office surrounded by SAGE printouts, trying to reconcile an account or two and then I received a call from a lady I didn't know; My brother had given her my CV and she wanted to know if we could meet. We agreed to meet on a Saturday afternoon. I contacted my brother, who confirmed that he had given her the CV but had forgotten to mention it to me. On the day I met the lady, we had a chat and she asked me why I had decided to move back to Ghana after all these years. I explained that I needed to spend more time with my aging parents and that I had been away from home for too long. As we went up some rickety wooden steps, she told me she liked me and would want me to work for her. She had a company which bought and sold cocoa and she was in the process of building a cocoa processing plant. Yes, you read right – cocoa! Wasn't that what God had shown me earlier? We sat down for a snack together and a few minutes later, she was off to her next meeting. She called before she left England, and I told her I would be in Ghana. It appears that was my interview. In July 2008, I packed everything and relocated to Ghana. I rested for three months and in October 2008, I started work in earnest. I was transferred from Tema to the office for cocoa operations in Kumasi, and that is where I wrote this testimony from. The faithfulness of God who orders our steps...
