There are many places retailers
can be located. From Local highstreets to Airports.
Locations of retailers can differ depending on the store or brand.
The most common location for independent retailers would be on a high street. As these are usually run by one person and cant afford other locations.
Another very common place for retailers are Shopping Centres. These hold a lot of brands and shops and is usually the place where a multiple retailer would be situaited as people are wanting to get popular shops all in one place .
Another location of Retailer that is popular would be in a tourist location such as Oxford Street or Bond Street. Again multiple retailers will be located here as people would be coming from all over the world to shop in those places. These locations are often where a brands flagship store will be held.
Airports and Train stations are locations of retailers which are for on-the-go brands. Shops like WHSmith would be located here. Also these locations tend to also sell travel products, for example in a airport there will always be a luggage store. In a train station there are always Coffee shops for people who commute.
