QUEEN
I am a Queen rooted to mother earth and I was made a Queen at the time of birth, so when you see me walking tall it's not that I believe I'm better no not at all. It's the trials that I've overcome, being ridiculed and called dumb. It's from being put down and led a stray, it's the names that I'm called from the way my hips sway. It's the rich chocolate tone of my skin, it's the beauty that's portrayed from the outside as well as in. My reign has many roots and my tree stands firm and tall I have inherited many cultures and I am the reminisces of them all. I am a giver of life. I am the light. I am the reason that darkness is called night. I am the perfect half of a whole situation. I am the backbone and he is my nation. I have a way of silently communicating, eyes that are simply captivating, a tongue that is quick in wit . I am a Queen rooted to mother earth and I was made a Queen at the time of birth.
