Graphotherapy
Graphotherapy is a useful tool to minimise the negative traits and replace them
with positive traits by changing certain strokes of writing.
Handwriting is generated by the impulses that our hand gets through the
neurological system. Therefore any changes in a person’s attitude or character is
followed by a change in the person’s handwriting. So any significant constant
change in the writing strokes of a person affects the neuromuscular reflexes and
changes the writer’s attitude. Hence graphology is an easy way of changing a
person’s negative traits to positive traits.
In order to undergo effective graphotherapy it is important that it is practised
regularly. Before we start graphotherapy it's important that the person handwriting
is analysed properly looking into all negative and positive traits. While undertaking
graphotherapy under a graphologist it is very important to look back at practise
sheets in order to make sure everything is going in a favourable way.
Few traits that can be changed through graphotherapy:
● Low self esteem- In handwriting low self esteem can be seen through low t
bars, small capital letters and lowercase PPI. To raise self esteem the writer
should increase the height of t crossbars, increase the size of capitals and
start using a capital I instead of a lowercase I. However when working on
one trait only one factor should be changed at at time.
● Procrastination- In handwriting procrastination is seen through the
placement of t crossbars on vertical t stems. Therefore placing the t crossbar
can bring in balance.
