Discovering Poland with Mrs Rybicka
The 27th of february, we had a meeting with Mrs Rybicka about the relationship between Italy and Poland.
She told us that many buildings in the center of Cracow was built by italians. Later, Mrs Rybicka, said that Poland have a lot of myths but the most famous one is the Wawel Dragon also known as the Dragon of Wawel Hill, is a famous dragon in Polish folklore. His lair was in a cave at the foot of Wawel Hill.
She also told us about the Polish cuisine, that has been influenced a lot by the Italian one. This culinary relation all started when Bona Sforza married the Polish king Sigismondo. The queen after the marriage, started sending typical Italian food to Poland.
Mrs Rybicka also makes us notice that the Polish and Italian national anthem, mention each other.
