( ACC # R177 ). “ Aviation ” is 5.25x7 ” for 1942 Canadian series issued by World Wide Gum Co . Ltd . ( ACC # V401-1 ). All feature nice art and information about that series . All have lt . creases as originally folded but remain bright and clean . Fine to VF . ( I ) $ 200.00 2017 . 1937 JIG SAW NOUGAT PRESIDENTS NEAR CARD SET CGC GRADED PLUS WRAPPER . 2x3 ”. Near set , 13 of 14 . ACC # R115 . Cards feature presidents Lincoln through Coolidge and are numbered 16-30 w / Cleveland numbered 22 / 24 and counting as just one of the 14 . Only card missing is # 21 Arthur . It has never been uncovered why the set starts at # 16 w / Lincoln and at this point we most likely will never know . Issued by Gold Brand Confectionery , Inc of Allston , MA and this was their one and only card set . Fronts feature portrait illustration w / related additional image under this . Backs have bios and all are blue text variety . Bottom margin of each , which includes the card number , has a redemption offer for “ Picture Puzzle Weekly ”. Bottom panels were to be cut and sent in to obtain this but all examples offered here are complete w / this panel intact . Goudey issued four different series of these cards over the years 1936-1939 . All in this lot are from 1938 , a set which is comprised of 66 . ACC # R19-3 . Each has rounded corners and fronts are designed as license plate replicas . Backs have info for that particular location and note these were made for “ Every State And Foreign Country .” Six are 9 Mint : Manitoba , South Dakota , Oregon , New Mexico , Utah , Vermont . The other is 8 NM-Mint and for British Columbia . Four in this lot are highest grades in the PSA census . An interesting gum issue and a high grade lot . ( H ) $ 100.00
