K risten Beth Cochran and Dr.
Brian Kelly Motz, both of Hagerstown, are excited to announce their engagement. Kristen is the daughter of Edward Cochran Jr. and Kathleen Collins. She graduated from North Hagerstown High School and Towson University and is employed as the Strategic Planning Manager at Meritus Medical Center.
Brian is the son of David and Carolyn Motz and Cynthia and Ronald Brezler. He too is a North Hagerstown High School and Towson University graduate. He earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Brian practiced dentistry in the Tri-State area for a few years and recently purchased Frederick Cosmetic and Laser Dental Center in Frederick, Md.

E rica Marie Strausner of Greencastle, Pa., and Jeremy John Ernst of Minersville, Pa. are pleased to announce their recent engagement. The couple currently resides in Baltimore, Md., where Erica, daughter of Eric and Eileen Strausner, is an attorney, and Jeremy, son of Warren and Marian Ernst, is a contract utility forester. The couple was enjoying their last night of vacation in New Orleans, La., with dinner and a walk when they stopped by the Christmas tree at Washington Artillery Park across from Jackson Square to take some pictures of the decorations lit up at night. Jeremy said,“ I was thinking of the perfect thing to say at this moment, but I just realized that if it was just you and me, it would always be perfect.” Erica smiled and agreed,“ Yeah, it is perfect.” She tried to give him a hug, but says he kept digging around in his pocket for something. Then he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She said yes, and a spring wedding is planned for May 31, 2014.

S ara Beth Cucchi and Anthony Vincent Fazio, both of Frederick, Md., are pleased to announce their recent engagement. Sara works with children and Anthony works for the Air National Guard. Anthony proposed to Sara after a Sunday family dinner at the bride-to-be’ s grandparents’ house. She said yes, and a spring wedding is planned for June 1, 2013 at the Morningside Inn in Frederick. §
