Dan Aufdem-Brinke has owned Vesta Pizzeria on the square in Boonsboro since 2007 but he always wanted to own a bar and restaurant. That vision became a reality when Dan and his wife, Charlotte, opened Dan’ s Restaurant and Tap House on the square in Boonsboro last June.“ I knew people were clamoring for something like this,” Dan says,“ and that it would do well in this area.” While the corner property has seen lots of other establishments come and go, Dan’ s has become a thriving establishment in a very short amount of time. Feedback from the community has been overwhelmingly good since the doors opened in June 2012.
Dan’ s Restaurant and Tap House consists of two Main Street properties combined into one: the former Palettie’ s restaurant on the corner and an abandoned antique shop next door. Once Dan acquired both properties, a year-long renovation process began
