NEW Era
The Arrival of the Cottages marks and arrival of a New Era in Student Housing. The University of New Mexico has seen an increase of roughly 1500 students on campus thanks to newer, larger Student Housing communities such as the Casas del Rio Residence Halls and the Lobo Village apartments on the South Campus. The Cottages is not related to UNM's campus development projects but offers a competitive alternative to the University's offerings. In many ways, The Cottages is not student Housing, it is Student Living.
