LOBO VILLAGE
UNM'S LARGEST STUDENT HOUSING PROPERTY
Opened in 2011, Lobo Village has had quite the wild ride as the largest student housing facility in the history of the University of New Mexico. Housing 864 students, and practically full every year, Lobo Village has had its fair share of challenges. The sprawling, property spans over 4 football fields in length and is owned and managed by Austin based American Campus Communities. That doesn’t mean students get away with any wrongdoing however. The property maintains a healthy and close relationship with UNM’s administration, making it a well structured, but much more liberal part of campus. Lobo Village is the first Student Housing property on any UNM campus to allow students of age to consume and keep alcohol. However, there is always something to do at “The Village”. From the annual Casino Night, to pool events and even rock climbing walls, Lobo Village has it all!
