H2O not wasted in Slovakia O2/2018 | Page 3

What did we see or visited in Spain related to water?

On the very first day we visited the biggest aquarium in Valencia, we had the chance to see fish like sharks, dolphines, seals, penguins and so on... We also visited a big lagoon L'Albufera. For this laggon is typical that the water flows from the Mediterrean sea and consists 10 % of salty water. Also we saw a beach. It was quite cold, so we didn’t have the chance to swim. The best visit during the mobility was at the fire station. We were extinguishing the fire from the burning car. Also that day we were at the swimming pool and had some fun later at spinning lesson. The last day we had two hours long hike on the top of a mountain with altitude 1334 meters above sea level. The purpose of this tour was another interesting place - the snow pit. In the past, it served as an ice factory. After a tiring tour, a beautiful museum was waiting for us in the afternoon. The museum was full of traditional costumes from festivals. The festival takes place annually in honor of St. George - patron of the city, who freed the city of Alcoy from the Arabs.

Did our expectations come true?

Absolutely yes. Everyone had the chance to see something diffrent, something unusual, taste traditional spanish food, improve their English, be much more confident and independent. We learnt so much about their country and we are honored that we had this offer thanks to the project H20 not wasted and also our great teachers.
