Choosing to live a healthy life is not solely a lifestyle choice, but also a state of mind. We have to be mentally
and physically prepared. Eating healthy food is great. It will aide in the prevention of diseases brought on by
poor nutrition. In addition, healthy eating energizes and rejuvenates us.
A few years ago, my uncle passed away. He suffered a heart attack. Poor nutrition, lack of exercise, and diabetes all played a part. I know I don’t always eat the right foods but witnessing the role it played in my uncle's
death prompted me to slowly but surely eat more healthy one day at a time.
Exercising is also great way of staying fit and healthy. I’m not saying you have to go to the gym everyday
but just taking a walk or jog at least once or twice a week is an amazing way to get those muscles working.
If you have a dog that would be a great reason to go walking too. I know our lives can get very busy and
chaotic, but taking care of our health is very important. So remember to take care of yourself!
Love is a strong word. Love is what we need to help get us through life. Whom-
ever it’s from, a parent, guardian, friend or relationship partner, it’s always important to have people love you for who you are. Even if you’re the only one
loving yourself that’s okay too. But you are the most important person. If you do
not love yourself first, then it can be difficult to let others love you
