Painted Over Mass

A big uneven bump
on the cupboard floor
gives a little to my poke.
My pen pierces through
the shell of white Kem-tone
applied for new tenants.
Purple jelly oozing,
I lodge my putty knife
underneath the mass
and pry it off the floor.
In this great moist pellet
teeth and a wiry tail.
