Can you imagine living anywhere else?

I already lived and studied in many different countries like Sweden or Norway and I also love to travel a lot. But in the end, I’m always happy when I’m back home. For me Südtirol is the best place to live, but I think that’s what everyone says about their home.

Why have you decided to study in Austria? Have you chosen this one programme directly?

In my region, more than 50% of students decide to study in Austria. I decided to study in Innsbruck, because of the good reputation of the university. Last year I earned my Bachelor´s degree and this year I started with my Master´s programme. And luckily, I’m still happy with my decision.

How does Christmas in the mountains look like?

Christmas became like in other regions more commercial. We have many tourists coming to Südtirol because of its famous Christmas markets every year. Sadly, because of the climate change “White Christmas” is only happening rarely. But Christmas is still celebrated with the family and people you love, and therefore is also a good chance to meet all the friends which study over Europe, which are coming home.

Thank you for the interview and my last question is - How much snow is there right now?

Haha (laugh). Actually, the only snow now is there on the peak of the mountains. In the valleys with all the towns and cities, the first snow usually falls in December or in January.

Thanks for the interview, it was an honor to present myself and my home country.
