Guys and Dolls - Feb. 2026 | Page 33

Costume rendering for Guys and Dolls by Costume Designer Jess Helberg
and pattern— amplifying personality, status, and ambition into something theatrical, joyful, and unmistakably Guys and Dolls.
And because this is New York, nobody stands still for long.
Choreographer Megan Helmers channels the city’ s pulse directly into the bodies of the company. Her movement is fast, angular, and driven by the score’ s propulsive rhythms— urban, precise, and purposeful. Rather than leaning into caricature, the choreography lets speed, clarity, and momentum reveal character and emotional truth.
Underneath all the color, comedy, and chaos is something quietly human: people trying to love one another while clinging to the rules that have always kept them safe.
Sometimes those rules collide. Sometimes they bend.
And sometimes— if you’ re lucky— you discover that understanding someone else’ s code is the first step toward rewriting your own … for someone worth changing it for.
Enjoy the game.
