MEET THE CAST
Emily Ash( Ferguson / Ensemble) Emily is thrilled to be a part of Guys and Dolls at Theatre Cedar Rapids! She was most recently seen on the TCR stage in Frozen. Earlier shows include Hairspray( Amber Von Tussle), Beauty and the Beast, Carrie: The Musical, Something Rotten!, Rock of Ages, and Mamma Mia! with TCR, Catch Me If You Can with City Circle Theatre Company, and The Rocky Horror Show with RHCR. She would like to thank everyone involved with the show and hopes they know how amazing they are! She also thanks her mom and dad, Austin and Sydney, and her friends, for the steadfast love and support. Special thanks to her Guy, Wolfgang, for everything. She dedicates each performance to her Grandma Alice, who had a great love of music and the arts.
Josiah Bailey( Sky Masterson) Josiah is stoked to make his TCR debut as well as participate in bringing a classic musical to life! He has recently been in Beauty and the Beast( Beast) and in Addams Family( Uncle Fester). Josiah is super grateful to the directing team and this incredible cast and crew for this opportunity!
Calvin Boman( Society Max / Ensemble) Calvin has never been more ready to gamble in his life! In preparation for his role as the gambler Society Max,“[ He’ s ] spent the last 2 weeks at the casino … or was it 3 weeks? What day is it?” Since the dice were pried from his hands, he yearns only to be again bewitched by the breezy benevolence in a brace of bones. Recently, at TCR, he played Nick Massi in Jersey Boys and Link Larkin in Hairspray. He wishes a broken leg to Big Jule and to all those involved with this production.
Wolfgang Amadeus Borchardt

Amadeus could not wait to drop right back into another show at TCR. He was recently seen at TCR in Frozen( Sven), Hairspray( Fender), Jersey Boys( Nick Devito), Beauty and the Beast( The Beast and Prince Adam), Carrie: The Musical( Billy Nolan), Something Rotten!, Rock of Ages( Drew Boley), SpongeBob and Cabaret. Also with RHCR performing The Rocky Horror Picture Show( Riff Raff) as well as in Spring Awakening( Malchior Gabor) with City Circle theater company. He also, as always, wants to thank all his castmates, crew, pit, and production team for all the hard work they do. And thanks to all his family, Emily, and friends for supporting him to continue through the arts, especially Shay.
Karissa Burkhardt( Sarah Brown) Karissa is thrilled to be in Guys and Dolls!
