Addressing at the panel, Muslum Yanmaz, the Chairman of the Greenhouse Investors' and Manufacturers' Association (SERA-BIR) mentioned that effective use of geothermal and solar power to develop modern green housing would boost Turkey's competitive power. Seed Growing Industry Sprinting with R&D investments selling seeds throughout the world... Second session of Agricultural Talks addressed “New Approaches to Seed Growing”. Kamil Yilmaz, The President of Turkish Union of Seed Growers (TURKTOB) stated “with a history of 40 years, Turkish seed growing industry is a total success story. The number of companies, which was 3-4 on its year of founding, now reached up to 800. We managed 958 thousand tons of seeds by the end of 2016. Our estimated growth target for 2017 is 10 percent. Turkey now became the very country to fulfill seed requirements with R&D activities and thanks to such kind of events where seed growing companies are promoted on global market.” Driverless tractor exhibited at Growtech Eurasia to arrive in Turkey next year.
