Dhabi, is taking place
alongside VIV MEA the
world's leading expo for
poultry and livestock
production and ApiARAB the
regions first ever B2B event
dedicated to increasing the
productivity of beekeepers
and honey producers in the
UAE. With 1,200,000 hives in
the UAE and Saudi Arabia
and 100's of tonnes of honey
produced annually across the
Gulf countries the new event
will support the growth of
this sector.
Renowned for its line-up of
innovative speakers GFIA Abu
Dhabi 2018 will focus on six
key areas: indoor/covered
farming and hydroponics; date
palm production; fish farming;
livestock and animal health;
sustainable crops; and
apiculture. With an emphasis
on sensible farming practices,
conservation of the
environment, yields, pests
control and overcoming
challenges to climate change
over 200 manufacturers and
suppliers will present ideas and
inspirations in sustainable food
production from across
business and science to over
15,000 visitors expected to
attend the trio of events.

population, the MENA region's
need to address food security
is more urgent than almost
anywhere else. GFIA offers
visitors a pioneering
conference and exhibition to
foster meaningful dialogue,
collaboration, recognition and
year-round action between
regional food producers,
buyers, innovators,
policymakers and investors,”
stated Nicola Davison, GFIA
Event Director.
Davison added: “GFIA was

agriculture is the only way to
feed nine billion people by
2050 sustainably. Since 2014,
GFIA events have welcomed
over 20,000 visitors, and we

globally significant partners
