As Board Member, vice chair
and later chair of EPAGMA (the
predecessor association of
Growing Media Europe), Norbert
Siebels has been a leading figure
and a powerful driving force in
the industry´s interest
representation on European level
since 2004. In his position as
chairman of Growing Media
Europe, he was entrusted with
the transition to the new
association and its successful
kick-off in 2016. “The members
of Growing Media Europe and
previously EPAGMA owe
Norbert Siebels great gratitude
for his passionate commitment,
constant engagement and
farsighted decisions, that were
instrumental in paving the way to
success for both associations.”,
declared Stefaan Vandaele, who
was designated to succeed
Norbert Siebels following an
unanimous decision of the Board
Members last year.

Head for East Europe, West
Asia, Middle East & Africa

Grundfos has announced the
appointment of Okay Barutçu
to the role of Group Senior
Vice President and Regional
Managing Director of Grundfos
East Europe, West Asia, Middle
East & Africa region.
The East Europe, West Asia,
Middle East & Africa region is a
newly defined sales region together
with Western Europe, which made
up the original Europe, Middle
East and Africa markets before the
split (effective 1 January 2018) to
support Grundfos' global growth
ambitions.
In his new role, Okay will
lead the company's business
across over 80 countries
including 14 wholly-owned sales
companies, a number of liaison
offices and local assembly plants
Grundfos operates in the region.
He will also be spearheading
opportunities for the company's
development and expansion in
this region.
