F
avorite band of all time. Heavy metal, schmeby
metal, thrash bash, clash. They all pale.
There is nobody like them. I don’t care if
anybody says Black Sabbath is my favorite band or
Lenny Kravitz. Everybody has to step in back of The
Beatles. That includes Elvis. Elvis never wrote a song
in his life that anybody cared about. He had charisma
and was a star. The Beatles were the perfect unit.
They had charisma crossed with talent crossed with
genius musical songwriting. They are the best popular
songwriters of all time. Period. “In My Life” is brilliant.
It’s astonishing. When you say one of The Beatles’
songs it may not be one of your favorite songs. Take
“In My Life” and give it to Yes and that will be the
best song they ever wrote. The Beatles’ worst song
would be any other band’s dream song.
