room between the frets, especially in the higher
regions, for digging in.
Stratocaster’s evolution continues with the
tremolo bar system, which no longer pivots on
six screws, but rather, a twopoint synchronized
system set in a floating position to raise
or lower pitch (excellent for tender chordal
vibrato). In addition, the tremolo bar is a pop-in
type with a smooth feel, which can be adjusted
to stay in one position for a quick grab, or
hanging loose and out of the way. Light years
more efficient than the older screw in type. Just
pop it in and go!
The alder body comes in an assortment of
astonishing finishes including: Antique Olive,
Sonic Gray, 3-Color Sunburst, Olympic White,
Sienna Sunburst, and Black. American Pro Strat
HSS is topped off with Fender sealed tuners, a
bone nut, and delivered in a molded hard-shell
case, complete with heavy-duty latches and
lock that’ll keep nosey fingers off your guitar.
It’s perfect for the traveling guitarist.
