around her heavenly vocals. It’s a
magical early performance from
the guitar hero when he was just
23 years old.
This one-off jam from The Rock and Roll Circus
TV special features members of The Beatles,
The Rolling Stones, Cream, and Jimi Hendrix
Experience. Eric can be heard wailing on his famous
red Gibson ES-335, while Keith Richards handles
Fender P-bass duties. With a lineup of Lennon,
Clapton, Richards, and drummer Mitch Mitchell,
you could argue the Dirty Mac was the greatest
supergroup of all time – even if it was brief.
