LE 9
With its majestic glass roof in the form of a barge’s prow, “le
9” dominates the plain of the Orb and the ancient acropolis of
Béziers on one side, and the Fonseranes locks on the other.
The restaurant offers a ‘bistronomic’ menu and local wines.
It can welcome 54 guests inside and 130 guests outdoors on two
terraces: one side with a view of Béziers and its cathedral, and
the other with a view of the 9 locks.

DISCOVERING THE CANAL DU MIDI
Romantics, epicureans and history buffs will love an excursion aboard the Colombier canal boat.
A commented hour-long cruise during which the captain will tell you all about this masterpiece
of engineering, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site. You can go on an evening dinner
cruise with music, or enjoy a wine and tapas cruise to learn about the art of pairing wine and
dishes with Alicia.
Besides the historic and geographical context of the Languedoc vineyards, you will experience an
initiation to wine tasting - on the water!
Or, finally, those who cannot get enough of the ins and outs of history can take a lunch or dinner
cruise that passes by all the main sites and most famous parts of the Canal, including the Grand
Bief (the Long Reach) and the Malpas Tunnel and then discover the 9 locks of Fonséranes on
foot. Whatever you choose, Frédéric, Rynelle and Arnaud, the dream team of the Colombiers,
can’t wait to welcome you aboard their boat with its panoramic views.
