Pierre Dinand, fondateur des Ateliers Dinand J’ai été le premier à adhérer au projet des Places d’Or avec Richard-David Zaoui. Nous avons même choisi ensemble l’endroit idéal place de la Concorde après avoir visité plusieurs autres sites. Ma motivation principale fut de m’échapper du Salon de l’Emballage trop chargé, malgré la création d’un secteur luxe. Parallèlement, Richard- David avait collaboré au LuxePack de Monaco devenu rapidement beaucoup trop grand. 40 brand’s products were presented and for which she was also the muse! We even chose the perfect venue together on Place de la Concorde after having visited several other sites. My main motivation was to get away from the overcrowded International Packaging Exhibition even though a luxury sector had been created. At the same time, Richard-David had been partnering with LuxePack in Monaco which had rapidly become really too big. Les incontournables du début étaient Jacky Wauters et Jacques Pivaudran, rejoints bientôt par de nombreux autres fournisseurs dont Technicaps et VTA. Jacky Wauters and Jacques Pivaudran were the key figures at the beginning but quickly joined by a host of other suppliers including Technicaps and VTA. Chaque année, c’est une rencontre importante où je fais figure de dinosaure étant certainement le plus ancien ! C’est maintenant mon petit-fils Jules qui représente la dynastie et assure la continuité des Ateliers Dinand. Every year, it’s a major get-together where I play the role of a dinosaur as I’ve probably been there the longest! My grandson Jules now represents the dynasty and ensures Ateliers Dinand pursues its route. Didier Bourgine, Président du directoire du Groupe Augros Cosmetic Packaging Didier Bourgine, Chairman of the Augros Cosmetic Packaging Group Management Board 25 ans, ça se fête d’autant plus que c’est aussi l’année des 100 ans du Groupe Augros Cosmetic Packaging et que nous avons décidé de marquer également cet anniversaire dans le cadre de l’édition 2019 du salon. Travaillant dans un secteur de marché extrêmement exigeant, nous nous sommes forgés une belle réputation dans l’approche sur-mesure dans notre activité packaging plasturgie. De ce fait, pour signifier l’importance de « l’écrin de présentation » nous avons naturellement opté pour le cadre d’exception proposé par Les Places D’Or. Dans l’univers surencombré des salons spécialisés, cet évènement nous a semblé cohérent avec nos valeurs et notre vision du métier « Small is Beautifull », « Less is More » sont des expressions qui nous correspondent et qui correspondent à la 25 years is definitely worth celebrating and all the more so as it’s also the Augros Cosmetic Packaging Group’s centenary and we’ve decided to mark this anniversary during the 2019 edition of the exhibition. Through working in this extremely-demanding market sector, we’ve forged a wonderful reputation as regards our bespoke approach to our plastic packaging activity. As such, to emphasize the importance of the “display case”, it was only natural for us to choose the exceptional setting which Les Places d’Or proposes. In the overcrowded world of specialized shows, this event appeared to be in line with our values and our vision of the profession. “Small is Beautiful”, “Less is More” are expressions which fit us perfectly and which also fit Les
