MIKE & ANDREA'S TIPS ON WHERE TO STAY...
The area has a number of options depending on your needs. Below are some we recommend,
including our own Sea Breeze Cottage. From our spacious home to the area's best inn and bed
& breakfast, these accommodations are a cut above the rest. We hope you find the perfect
place to enjoy your precious vacation time!
Sea Breeze Cottage...
Sea Breeze is an idyllic 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom waterfront cottage
on the shores of Lake Ontario. Our favorite feature is the outdoor
hot tub, from which you can watch the sun rise and warm the sky in
the mornings. The cottage comes fully equipped with linens, satellite
TV, WiFi, and a fireplace. Provincial Park parking pass included to
enjoy Presquile and Sandbanks Provincial Parks.

Away in the County B&B...
Located on the beautiful shores of East Lake in the village of Cherry
Valley in Prince Edward County, Away in the County B&B is just as
serene as its name suggests. This tranquil and peaceful escape for
adults offers privacy and peace but is also only 10 minutes away
from Picton and 15 minutes away from Sandbanks Provincial Park.
Don't miss the "field to fork" breakfast.

The Woodlawn Inn...
This Inn comes with a #1 rating on TripAdvisor for B&B's in Cobourg.
It's easy to understand why! Although the hotel opened in 1988, the
building dates to 1835, so retains an elegant style. With 20 rooms,
the hotel feels intimate and individual. It also features free WiFi
throughout, and a good restaurant with some great wines and craft
beers. The harbour area is an easy walk at less than a mile away.

MIKE & ANDREA'S Practical Information
Kitchen inclusions...
Bringing your dog...
Sea Breeze clothing...
If you are staying at a vacation
rental property be sure to contact
the owners of the property to
find out what is provided in the
kitchen.
For example, herbs and spices,
condiments, tea, coffee, and
similar other items. It is much
cheaper to bring these things
from home than have to buy
them once you arrive.
Some important tips to consider:
1 Always ensure you pack a spare
towel, bottled water and a bowl
for day trips/hikes;
2 Be sure to keep your dog on a
leash as there are predators big
and small (coyotes / ticks) that
are more prevalent in cottage
country;
3 Pack extra dog poop bags for
cleaning up the yard after your
vacation!
At any time of year, visiting
locations near Lake Ontario will
usually be cooler than areas
inland.
It's always a good idea to pack
an additional layer for any day
trips out close to the water. Not
only does the water temperature
bring the ambient temperature
down, there tends to be a "sea
breeze" as well.
